Our Team

Our team is highly educated and trained in DOT, OSHA, and EPA safety compliance. We are a family-owned business and depend on our relationships with customers to create a safe environment for workers, drivers, employees, and the general public. The Munn Safety staff participates in continuing education daily in order to provide the latest information to our customers on the ever-changing regulations.

Michel Munn

Co-Owner/CEO

Since 2003 Michel has been helping small to large companies navigate the complexities of the DOT/FMCSA regulations. He has successfully managed hundreds of state and federal level audits including FMCSA Compliance Reviews, New Entrant Audits, PHMSA Audits, & HM Security & Shipper Reviews. Now considered an expert subject matter consultant, he oversees the Munn Safety Transportation Compliance Department and the over 120+ customer portfolio.

Jake Munn

Co-Owner/CMO

Jake developed the online training division of Munn Safety Services. He leads our safety training team and is responsible for handling all SaferHub related systems. His focus is on customer acquisition, with a passion for training development.

Perry James

Training Development

Perry joined Louie Munn Services in 2021 after nearly a decade of experience in writing and education. He serves as the lead content developer for the online training division of the company. His focus is on delivering quality, easy-to-understand safety training content to all Munn Safety clients.

Layne Turan

LMS/CTPA

Layne Turan joined our team in summer of 2024. She is responsible for tracking driver credentials, recurring training dates, managing our customer’s drug and alcohol programs, and managing our online training cards and certificates.
